I’m a multi-passionate freelancer, artist and movie buff.
Let me introduce myself — my name is Lizzie. I am a freelancer, educator, artist and multi-passionate person.
I probably will never have a Wikipedia page so this is the best I can do for a get to know me.
Background
I was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta and I still reside there, though I’m starting to set my sights to moving. As a child, I played violin, took acting classes, did many different artistic hobbies and read a lot. I was also lucky enough to travel a lot during my childhood and teen years, as much as going to Europe 3 times in one year for school and extracurricular trips.
Education and Career
My university career was a long and slightly wobbly process. I started off in a PR degree, which I realized during orientation was not for me at the time. The next year I transfered into a double major in English and Drama, where I thought my focus would lie primarily on English. In that degree, I quickly realized I enjoyed being on stage and making theatre way more than reading books written by dead men, so I put my focus on theatre. As I was gaining momentum, the pandemic hit and I graduated amid the chaos, with no options for work in theatre directing, design or creation.
So I turned my attentions to a hobby and interest I had had for many years — social media. I was lucky to get an internship with a theatre company where I took on marketing and admin work. From there, I took training courses and put all my efforts into content creation and social media marketing. Now, a year and a half later I’m happily working for clients, while also having time and money to pursue my lifelong passion of film.
Fun Facts
- I don’t have a middle name — it might be a Slavic thing, or maybe just a my parents thing but I find it pretty cool.
- I got a chance to perform at the Scotiabank Saddledome — the biggest arena in my city when I was in Grade 11.
- I’ve travelled to 10 different countries, and can’t wait to continue exploring the world.
- I speak fluent Polish and English, as well as rudimentary French and Spanish.

I’m passionate about mental health, mindset, freelancing, film, theatre, and social justice, so my content across Instagram, TikTok, Medium and hopefully Youtube revolves around these topics.
